The City has finalized a draft of the proposed lakeside zoning ordinance and is inviting comments from affected property owners. This ordinance will set forth the permitted uses, setbacks, design guidelines and other details regarding the construction of facilities within the area adjacent to Lake Ray Hubbard and within the lake itself. The property, owned by the City of Dallas and currently leased to the City of Garland, will become available for sub-lease to the adjoining property owners after the zoning ordinance is adopted by the Garland City Council and reviewed by the City of Dallas.
