In support of the Teens in the Drivers Seat program the Garland Youth Council commits to the following:
- To provide information about TDS and various campus team updates at monthly GYC meetings
- To create a GYC committee dedicated to executing the GYC’s TDS action plan
- To present a TDS program during the March GYC meeting to bring extra attention to teen driving issues as prom/graduation season approaches
- To offer support to the campus teams by helping promote their efforts through news releases and announcements posted on the GYC website
- To prominently place TDS information on the GYC website
- To coordinate a formal kickoff event/activity for TDS efforts in Garland ISD each fall
