When swimming pool water runs down the street and into the storm drain the pollutants in the water could cause problems for the aquatic animals living in our local waters. Garland City ordinance requires all owners of pools, hot tubs, or spas to drain them into a sanitary sewer, not into grass, alleys, streets or storm drains.
